EnergyAustralia hosted an exclusive national business event at the Sydney Opera House’s Yallamundi Rooms in May 2021. To manage invitations, RSVPs and event information, Microcosm was engaged to design and deliver a streamlined digital communications package—including a fully branded event microsite and a multi-part automated email sequence.
The project aimed to ensure a high-impact, professional experience for guests from the initial “Save the Date” to post-event follow-up.
The EnergyAustralia team needed a fast, polished solution to manage digital communications for a one-off, high-profile corporate event. The digital touchpoints had to reflect the EnergyAustralia brand while remaining simple to use across both desktop and mobile platforms. Managing RSVP submissions and ensuring timely, sequenced delivery of each campaign email was essential to the success of the event.
Event microsite on Squarespace
We designed and built a clean, mobile-optimised Squarespace microsite that presented the key event information and housed a custom RSVP form. The site was tailored to an invitation-only audience and built with ease of use and quick deployment in mind.
Automated email campaign
We created a cohesive series of Mailchimp emails aligned with the EnergyAustralia brand. The sequence included:
