Challenge

Monash University launched a new research training centre dedicated to fragment-based design—a cutting-edge field accelerating pharmaceutical innovation. The centre needed a strong, modern brand identity to support its mission, ensuring visibility across academic, industry, and promotional materials, as well as signage for events and facilities.

Result

We conducted in-depth research into fragment-based design and its role in pharmaceutical advancements to create a brand identity that reflects the centre’s innovation and expertise:

  • Logo and brandmark
a striking visual identity inspired by the principles of fragment-based design, ensuring relevance and recognition.
  • Vibrant colour palette and graphic elements
a series of bold, saturated hues combined with a distinctive half-drop pattern for backgrounds, reinforcing the brand’s unique visual language.
  • Branded collateral and signage
designing banners, signage, and marketing materials for use in academic and industry events.

Outcome

The new brand identity has positioned ARC-FBD as a leader in pharmaceutical innovation, providing a professional and cohesive visual presence across all touchpoints. The strong brand foundation ensures recognition within both academic and industry circles, supporting the centre’s outreach and training initiatives.
